Accenture to Help Fiat-Chrysler Group Develop Connected Services for Uconnect™ Systems in the EMEA Region

NEW YORK; June. 20, 2014 – Accenture (NYSE: ACN) has started to work with the Fiat-Chrysler Group to develop the next range of connected services for its UconnectTM systems in Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA).

UconnectTM systems are integrated into Fiat-Chrysler Group’s vehicles to provide drivers with communication, entertainment and navigation features that help keep them focused on driving.

“Accenture and Fiat-Chrysler Group are jointly designing, building and managing the technology operations, the mobile platform, that will deliver the next generation of connected services for Fiat-Chrysler Group Uconnect systems in Europe,” said Luca Mentuccia, global senior managing director, Accenture.

“The implementation will use the Accenture Connected Vehicle Business Service, which can help automakers deliver on-board and back-end systems necessary to create connected vehicles, as well as provide the integration with content providers, real-time vehicle diagnostic data and overall program management,” he added.
