Regent Seven Seas Cruises Explores New Destinations, Welcomes New Ship With 2016 Summer and Fall Itineraries

MIAMI,FL (Feb. 6, 2015) – Today, Regent Seven Seas Cruises unveiled its 2016 summer and fall collection, featuring more than 60 destination-rich itineraries, three Grand Voyages and 11 new ports not previously visited by the luxury line. Seven Seas Explorer, the most luxurious ship ever built, will set sail on its maiden voyage and inaugural season as part of the summer 2016 schedule. The line’s four all-suite luxury ships will chart diverse courses, offering unforgettable travel experiences while exploring coveted destinations across the world.

The fleet will visit iconic and exotic cities in the Mediterranean and Northern Europe; travel through the majestic landscapes of Alaska, New England and Canada; and discover the mysterious lands of Asia. In total, the Regent Seven Seas Cruises fleet will visit 220 ports in 71 different countries with its summer and fall collection, including several overnight stays in the world’s most sought-after destinations.

The luxury line also introduced three new Grand Voyages, ranging from a 47-night London to Copenhagen sailing to a 64-night Barcelona to Sydney sailing. The 47-night London to Copenhagen sailing introduces fascinating new ports that explore the magnificent fjords of Greenland with stops in Nuuk and Qaqortoq. The sailing also visits beautiful and less traveled ports such as Denmark’s ancient history of Torshavn (Faroe Islands) and Iceland’s scenic cities of Akureyri and Isafjordur.

For select sailings in the Mediterranean, Asia and Africa, Regent Seven Seas Cruises will introduce new options for its FREE Extraordinary Land Program, which includes a free three-night hotel stay and complimentary guided tours that immerse guests in the destination. One experience explores opulent cities of the Emirates, as guests discover Dubai’s rich history at the Dubai Museum, marvel at the magnificent architecture of the Jumeirah Mosque and take in breathtaking views from the Burj Khalifa, the tallest building in the world. Another excursion includes visiting the ultramodern capital city, Abu Dhabi, to experience architectural treasures and luxurious landmarks such as the Emirates Palace Hotel.

Seven Seas Explorer
Seven Seas Explorer highly anticipated maiden voyage will be a remarkable 14-night cruise from Monte Carlo to Venice on July 20, 2016. The inaugural season reveals a lineup featuring a variety of destination-rich Mediterranean itineraries calling on iconic and new locations throughout the Mediterranean. The ship will visit exotic and sought-after ports of call such as Venice, Kotor (Montenegro), Zadar (Croatia), Istanbul and Haifa (Jerusalem), Israel plus new locales Sanary-sur-Mer (France), Portimao (Portugal), Agadir (Morocco) and Catania (Sicily).

Seven Seas Voyager
Seven Seas Voyager will begin the season with the fleet’s first Irish Sea/Bay of Biscay cruise followed by an incredible journey into Iceland, Greenland and Scandinavia, fulfilling the ultimate fjord cruise experience. After five months exploring Northern Europe, the ship repositions to Asia with a 23-night Barcelona to Dubai sailing on November 9, 2016 that includes overnights in Haifa, Israel (Jerusalem), Safaga, Egypt (Luxor) and Dubai.

Seven Seas Mariner
Seven Seas Mariner begins the season exploring the picturesque ports and stunning natural beauty of Alaska. After the Alaska season, the ship will set off for the east coast beginning with an extraordinary 18-night journey from San Francisco to New York. Departing from the Big Apple, the ship begins a season of autumn foliage cruises across New England and Canada. The ship will then breeze south and visit the colorful towns and pristine beaches of the Caribbean and concludes the season with a special 25-night trip to explore exotic villages along Amazon River.

Seven Seas Navigator
Guests sailing the intimate 490-guest Seven Seas Navigator in summer and fall 2016 will experience the impressive history and world-class cuisine of the Mediterranean. In total, the ship will sail 20 Mediterranean voyages ranging from 7- to 12-nights in length, exploring new ports such as the charming town of Bastia, France and the famed beaches of Gaeta, Italy. Seven Seas Navigator will conclude the season with a 10-night voyage departing October 13, 2016 traveling through the French and Spanish Riviera with an overnight in Lisbon.
