NEW YORK (Jan. 13, 2015) – Regent Seven Seas Cruises revealed the all-new Seven Seas Explorer’s maiden voyage, a remarkable 14-night cruise from Monte Carlo to Venice on July 20, 2016, and its inaugural season, which includes voyages to some of Europe’s most exclusive destinations aboard the world’s most luxurious ship. It’s befitting that the luxury liner enters service in Monte Carlo as the fashionable locale is widely recognized around-the-world for its unmistakable glamour and elegance, characteristics that will define the experience found aboard Seven Seas Explorer.
At 56,000 gross-registered tons and carrying just 750 guests, the all-suite, all-balcony ship will boast the highest space ratio in the cruise industry, and is designed to be the most luxurious ship ever built, with every inch of the vessel evoking sophistication and opulence. The inaugural season reveals a lineup featuring a variety of destination-rich itineraries calling on iconic locations throughout the Mediterranean. The ship will visit exotic and sought-after ports of call such as Ibiza, Barcelona, St. Tropez, Venice, Kotor (Montenegro), Zadar (Croatia), Koper (Slovenia), Alexandria (Egypt), Istanbul and Haifa (Jerusalem), Israel.
