KKR Appoints Marius Haas as Industry Advisor
NEW YORK–(BUSINESS WIRE)– Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. L.P. (together with its affiliates, "KKR") today announced the appointment of Marius Haas as an Industry Advisor. Mr. Haas joins KKR from Hewlett-Packard, where he was Senior Vice President and Worldwide General Manager of the HP Networking Division. Mr. Haas will work closely with the KKR team to identify and pursue new investments, particularly in the technology sector, while supporting existing portfolio companies.

Mr. Haas was named Senior Vice President and Worldwide General Manager for HP's Networking Division in 2008 and oversaw all operational aspects of the company's global business. Under his leadership, the company established itself as a leader in the networking market. Prior to that, he was Senior Vice President, Chief Strategy Officer and Global Head of Corporate M&A for HPfrom 2003 to 2008. In this role, he was instrumental in overseeing the strategic and corporate development functions of the organization and successfully led the completion of 32 acquisitions, driving significant revenue growth for the company. He joined HP in 2001 as Vice President of Worldwide eBusiness and eCommerce. Prior to HP, Mr. Haas spent six years with Compaq Computer Corp.in various senior operating roles. He began his career with Intel Corp. in 1991.
