VIRGIN AMERICA LAUNCHES SALES TO ORLANDO

Airline Will Launch New MCO Service on October 6, 2010, Tickets on Sale Today

San Francisco – July 20, 2010 – Virgin America announces it will serve Orlando International Airport (MCO) with one daily nonstop flight from both Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) and San Francisco International Airport (SFO) beginning October 6, 2010. Due to a delay in its leased aircraft deliveries, Virgin America had previously postponed its sales and original start of service to Orlando (flights were originally slated to begin August 19, 2010).

“We’re pleased to open sales for MCO today and to bring our low-fare, award-winning service to Orlando beginning October 6,” said Diana Walke, Vice President of Planning and Sales at Virgin America. “Orlando is an important year-round leisure, convention and business travel destination and we look forward to introducing our unique product to travelers on these routes.”

Tickets are on sale today on Virgin America’s Web site (www.virginamerica.com) and at 1.877.FLY.VIRGIN (1.877.359.8474).* Virgin America’s LAX-MCO fares start at $149 and SFO-MCO fares start at $199 one way in Main Cabin.** Connecting flights will also be available to Orlando from Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA).
