Natuzzi Expands Quick Time Program to Flagship Natuzzi Editions Line

Quick-ship service will be available on seven popular leather collections

HIGH POINT, N.C., Oct. 13, 2014 — Natuzzi is expanding its Quick Time quick-ship program to include seven best-selling collections in the Natuzzi Editions line.

The program, being introduced to retailers at the October High Point Market, will enable dealers to sell a selection of popular Natuzzi Editions models without the need to flow containers or carry excess inventory. Product will be stocked on both the East and West Coasts, providing rapid shipping.

Natuzzi Editions, the company’s flagship brand of high-value, hand-crafted leather designs, offers merchandise designed specifically for the needs and desires of North American consumers. All Natuzzi Editions models are developed in Italy under the oversight of Natuzzi’s Product Development Department — one of the most sophisticated operations in the furniture industry.

“Our goal with this program is to ship Natuzzi Editions product to retailers within one week,” says Ed Teplitz, chief commercial officer for Natuzzi Americas Inc. “We’re committed to stocking the inventory so that retailers can sell the top selling models with the confidence that they will receive this merchandise quickly.”

The program includes seven Natuzzi Editions models, in styles ranging from traditional to casual and contemporary. The collections represent multiple upholstery categories including stationary sofas, sectionals and reclining sofas.

Expanding the Quick Time program will make the Natuzzi Editions line even more appealing to a broader base of retailers, both large and small, according to Teplitz. “Many retailers would rather not tie up their cash by carrying inventory or buying containers of product. With Quick Time, they’ll be able to get all of our best-sellers quickly with a price that is comparable to these other options.”

Teplitz adds that there will be no minimums on orders. “Retailers can order as much or as little as they need.”

Natuzzi also offers Quick Time service on its Natuzzi Italia line of premium, made-in-Italy leather upholstery as well as its innovative Re-Vive performance recliners, introduced at the October 2013 High Point Market.
